HOW DO I BECOME AN ENTERTAINER?

For most positions previous experience in hotel animation are not necessary. So you don’t need to worry, that you have never work in entertainment industry before.

However, for some positions (team leader, DJ, assistant team leader, kid’s club supervisor) we require that candidate has already worked as an entertainer for minimum 1-3 seasons.

Different position requires different qualifications. For example: kid’s entertainers should have qualification for childcare. Fitness entertainers needs certificate of their fitness trainings (yoga teacher, fitness instructor, personal trainer…)

Dancers and Singers should have a professional dance/vocal training.

Sport’s and All-round entertainers don’t necessarily need any certificate.

You have two options to apply for job:

  1. You can come to one of our audition or casting, which we organize every year from January to March in different European cities

  2. Or you can apply via our website, or just drop us an email.

If you will come to one of our audition, please bring with your CV and photo.

During the audition we will check your dance abilities (not obligatory if you feel like you cannot dance) and have a personal interview with each candidate.

If you are not able to come to our casting, you will need to send us your CV and 2 photos of you. After checking your CV we will schedule a video interview, where we will ask you some questions and of course answer all of your questions.

After the audition or video interview, we will contact you again withing few days with the news about our offer.

If your application was successful, we will send you a contract and inform you about all the necessary details (starting date, training, destination…) and paperwork.

GOT THE JOB, WHAT ARE THE NEXT STEPS?

Yes, all our entertainers who are available from April will participate in our training directly in one of destination island. Training period will last 1-3 weeks, length of the training depends on the position you have. Professional dancers and singers will need to have a full 3 weeks training/rehearsals to learn all the shows and dance routines.

Entertainers who will not participate in our evening live shows needs 1-2 weeks training in order to learn everything about daytime and evening program.

Accommodation and meals will be provided during training period.

Unfortunately, the full-time day to day intense training we are able to provide just before the season start.

Entertainers whose starting date is after April, will be trained while working. That’s mean that first days you will be accompanied by your experienced colleagues and team leader, who will explain you and teach your everything about the job.

In most of the cases we will select entertainers for each team during our training. So you will find out in which hotel you will be working during 1st or 2nd week of training. Of course, we will let you know the names in which hotel you could possibly work during the interview, before signing the contract.

If you will not attend a training, we will inform you about the island and your placement hotel few weeks prior to your start date.

You will need to pay and book your flights tickets by yourself.

We will reimburse part of your travel expenses at the end of successfully accomplished contract with your last salary.

For each of our entertainer we organize transfer from the airport to the hotel.

SALARY, ACCOMMODATION AND OTHER BENEFITS

You will receive your salary always on 15th of following month.

That’s mean, that you will receive your salary for May on 15th of June, salary for June on 15th of July and so on…

No, you don’t need to open new bank account. We can transfer your payments to the account you already have in your country.

You will be provided with a room in the hotel area, most of the rooms are double or triple rooms in staff accommodation. Single room cannot be guaranteed, so you will be sharing a room with your colleague.

If you will not attend a training, we will inform you about the island and your placement hotel few weeks prior to your start date.

Yes, you will have 3 meals per day and refreshments in the hotel.

We will provide for you Swiss social security and accident insurance. You will still need to have your own health insurance.

You will receive from us daily and evening uniforms. However, there are some essentials which you will need to bring with you, such as trainers shoes, trousers…

Complete list of clothing will be sent to you with the contract.

Yes, your family and friends can definitely visit you while you are on the contract with us.
